Classrooms

RASTA – has spacious classrooms equipped with modern projection facilities, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning atmosphere. These classrooms are designed to accommodate various teaching methods, fostering collaboration and active participation. Additionally, we have dedicated tutorial rooms that provide an ideal setting for small group discussions, and focused learning sessions.

Library

RASTA boasts an extensive library facility with approximately 1,000 volumes of texts and references and around 2,000 copies of books focused on Highway Technology, and Infrastructure Engineering and Management. The library also holds a comprehensive collection of IRC codes, Special Publications, and IS codes, totaling about 800 issues.

In addition to its physical resources, RASTA subscribes to several reputable national and international journals and is a member of the National Digital Library, providing access to a wide range of referential works. The Institute also offers online access to VTU's KNIMBUS library facility.

The library is open to students during Institute hours and features excellent seating arrangements for quiet study and research.

Labs

RASTA is unique in terms of material testing facilities. Our NABL accredited material testing labs are a hallmark of our commitment to quality and excellence in education, research and consultancy. These labs are equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation and equipment, enabling students to conduct precise and reliable testing of materials. The accreditation ensures that our labs meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability, providing a robust platform for practical learning and research in material science and engineering.
